Active Learning
Continuously challenging the minds of the students to become participants for the class, classroom teaching is an area where students challenge the norms, think of different solutions together, and finding deeper knowledge and understanding through collaboration.
Understanding your passion, strengths and weaknesses, and experiencing little failures is essential at early stage prior to higher education. Our students will explore their curiosity and passions by actively participating in various clubs, teams, and projects available by class groups. They will encounter problems and through collaborations and failures, learn the standard that they must aim for, and in turn learn more about themselves. This training will give them insight into making better decisions in their life.
Blended Learning
Utilizing the technology of today, we found more effective ways for students to acquire knowledge: through online materials, engaging learning through visuals and demonstrations, and with wonderful software and applications available to us.
Students will learn how to use computer and its software for their everyday learning. Utilizing the Internet of things and learn the tools from various software and applications. Technology has become essential component of everyday tools for our students.
Younger students will learn how to type, basics of hard wares, engaging in communication such as emails and social media (*teaching social media to younger children in order for them to control its usage, not controlled by social media, is important).
Ecosystem
Finding Collaboration in Diversity
With over 10 nationalities with no single group exceeding 30% of the student body, we created an international environment with various ways of thinking united with common goals to learn and create. Students also collaborate and interact with students from different grades and age group developing leadership and group identity as student body.
Teachers: Our facilitator
We have identified the roles of teacher no longer as ‘knowledge-deliverer’, but as an inspirational leader who can facilitate the modern education and lead the students by examples.
By utilizing the quality contents that we developed for academic learning, teachers can facilitate the classroom for students to practice active learning. Instead of focusing on ‘what’ they will learn during the classroom, now they have room to focus on the student’s learning experience.
Teachers will lead various real-life projects and lead the team of student bodies to accomplish the tasks. Students will be able to follow the examples and leadership of our teachers and learn the standard of work, characters, and skillsets.
Play, Fun, and Friendships
Life at school involve relationships and activities that can foster exciting and fun experiences. Utilizing the safe neighborhood of our school location (District 7), we dedicate many days in a month for outdoor excursions.
*The safety of our children is still priority for our school administrators and teachers. All led activities will be monitored and guided by the teacher or assistant. Safety regulations and manuals will be instructed prior to the outdoor activities
Academic
Powerful and rich contents
Our curriculums are developed with care by the teachers and experts of their fields for each level. Depending on the student grade groups, we utilize different tools to best suit the learning.
The standard of our curriculums are referenced from education systems in Ontario (OSSD), U.S, and the Philippines appropriately to ensure we provide contents on International standard.
